The New York Business Journal has announced its 2016 class of Women of Influence, and Vitiello Communications Group’s Jill Vitiello is among the honorees. The group of 79 will be honored at a luncheon on January 20 in New York City. The publication also featured Jill on its website in light of the honor.
The journal’s Women of Influence program is part of American City Business Journals’ national program, which identifies women in the business world who mentor and inspire others. This is the second annual Women of Influence program the journal has hosted.
Jill has built a powerhouse of top communications professionals and serves clients of leading companies across disciplines as founder and president of Vitiello Communications Group (VTLO) for the past 25 years. She has put her focus on finding techniques to not only help business leaders communicate effectively, but to engage employees and educate and empower women.
She supports organizations such as World Vision’s Micro Loan program, which helps women in developing countries start and operate small businesses, and she has served on the Garden State Go Red for Women Executive Committee, which provides women with information and resources to help them manage their health.
The honor comes before the January release of the book, Breakthrough Results, an anthology for business leaders written by a consortium of entrepreneurs. Jill’s chapter, “Communicate to Win,” offers readers proven strategies for effective communication and employee engagement.
