What happens when you fill the dining room of the Harvard Club in New York City with 79 Women of Influence and their colleagues? Magic!
I am so honored to have been named to the 2016 Class of Women of Influence by the New York Business Journal and Bizwomen.com. Attending the awards lunch yesterday was amazing.
In just two hours, I met dozens of CEOs and entrepreneurs, heard from a panel of experts from the non-profit and private business sectors, and formed a networking group with business leaders who sat with me and my guest, my daughter, Vanessa Vitiello, at Table 15.
I’m a big believer in the power of authentic networking, and yesterday’s event proved once again that showing up is 80 percent of life.
Thank you to Bizwomen Editor Mary Johnson and New York Business Journal for bringing together this high-energy cohort of accomplished women. And for providing another opportunity to promote women in business on Mentoring Monday, coming up on April 4.
Here I am with my 2016 Women of Influence Award from New York Business Journal and Bizwomen.com!
